Sports Sponsorship

Contributing to the Development of Sports by Offering New Value in Sponsorship

My dream is to be a bridge connecting Japan and the world through sports. To achieve this, I’m starting a business that will first contribute to the development of professional sports in Japan. While studying for my Sports MBA in the US and encountering the visions of various companies and agencies, I was drawn to POD’s philosophy of industrializing sports through network, management know-how, and capital.

I believe that the Japanese sports business is still developing and holds immense potential. There are many ideas that can clear current challenges, such as providing added value to sports viewing from a “hospitality” perspective, or branding individual athletes and teams. There’s also significant meaning in undertaking initiatives that will have a major impact on society.

Traditionally viewed as “donations,” sports sponsorships are evolving into mutually beneficial partnerships. It’s crucial for companies, sports organizations, and athletes to build win-win relationships by providing value to each other. My business focuses on creating a system where investors can realize more tangible return on investment (ROI) through sports. In particular, I aim to create opportunities to offer new value in areas with high affinity for ESG/SDGs.
